Fall Into Clay is a day-long outdoor event held at The Smithy Clay Studio on Saturday, Oct. 1st, from 10am-4pm! This event will be happening rain or shine, tents and indoor spaces will available if necessary.

What’s going on at The Smithy Clay Studio? Fall Into Clay will be an open house and sale held in the garden courtyard between the Smithy Gallery and the Smithy Clay Studio to commemorate the beginning of the Smithy Clay Studio’s Fall season class, workshop, and open-studio sessions.

What to expect? The sale will feature ceramic works by Smithy Clay Studio Artists in all shapes and sizes. Alongside the sale will be demonstrations by artists, explanations about their technique, and an opportunity to see into an artist’s creative process. Maybe ceramics and pottery aren’t your thing? Well come by and enjoy the sweet sounds of the Killdeer Trio, a group made up of Evan Jagels, Wyatt Ambrose, and Sebastian Green. Killdeer Trio plays all original music, blending influences from modern jazz, hip-hop, rock and free jazz to create a new fusion music for the current time. Light, nonalcoholic, refreshments will be available throughout the day to keep the party going.

Where and when is this amazing daytime event? This event will be taking place at the Smithy Clay Studio. Admittance to the event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 10am-4pm on Saturday, October 1st. The entrance at this event will be through the first floor of the Smithy Gallery located at 55 Pioneer St. in Cooperstown, NY.
